From the Now to the Future, Enter a New Season

Today is the official “first day of fall”. Where are the brightly colored leaves gently falling from the trees? Frost on the pumpkin? Hot apple cider? All of the images that we conjure up when we think of autumn? Here, we don’t have falling leaves – we have a deep and very lush green of the jungle. No frost (or pumpkins) but we do have smooth skin from the humidity and baskets of mangos. Hot cider sounds terrible right about now but an “agua fresca” sure quenches the thirst! It won’t be long before the weather will change, bringing balmy, tropical evenings and gorgeous blue daytime skies. October always seems to bring a special energy that you can feel in the air as folks return for the winter months, bringing with them the hope and anticipation of a good high season. We are ready!
